As New Orleans real estate attorneys and real estate professionals, we are heavily invested in the communities we live and work. Our communities are full of our clients, friends, and families. Additionally, the communities provide the lifeblood of our profession and are the foundation we have chosen to establish and build our families and business.

We pride ourselves on giving back to the community through investing our time and money. Our dedication and commitment to improving our communities is evidenced by our involvement in local organizations by our owners and staff. Below you will find a list of organizations we are actively involved.

New Orleans Chamber of Commerce

The New Orleans Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2004 to provide members with the opportunity to build mutually beneficial partnerships within the City of New Orleans. Currently the Chamber has over 1,200 members and also has the lowest dues in the region.

New Orleans Regional Council of Business Economics

New Orleans Regional Council of Business Economics, founded in 1972, is an affiliate of the National Association of Business Economics. Our objective is to enhnace economic knowledge and understanding through informed discussion and debate. 

Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO)

Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO) is an organization created and dedicated to the rescue and aid of abandoned and homeless animals in the New Orleans area, including responding to the immediate needs of those in need of medical care or those too old, too young, too sick, neglected, abused and deprived of love. ARNO promotes the foster, adoption and reunion of pets with caretakers as well as spaying and neutering all companion animals through our no-kill shelter.

Young Leadership Council

The Young Leadership Council (YLC) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan civic organization created to develop leadership through community projects. Through volunteer-created community projects, the YLC recruits and retains young professionals to New Orleans and has a positive impact on the quality of life in the region. The oldest independent YPO (young professionals’ organization) in the country, the YLC has raised more than $25 million to support community projects in and around the New Orleans area since 1986.

 

The YLC has more than 1,500 member-volunteers, and is led by a 25-member board of directors and four staff members. Each community initiative is led by one or more volunteer project leaders.

New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Title Attorneys

NOMATA is regional trade association that is designed to benefit the real estate title attorney doing business in the metropolitan New Orleans area, that which is defined to include Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, St. Bernard, Plaquemines, Washington, Tangipahoa, St. John the Baptist and St. Charles Parishes. The goal of this association is to create a network of practitioners who can come together to identify needs and issues relating to our practice of law, and to work among ourselves to satisfy and resolve the same. 

Louisiana Land Title Assocation

The Louisiana Land Title Association is a private, non-profit trade association that operates for the benefit of persons associated with the land title industry.

American Land Title Association (ALTA)

The American Land Title Association, founded in 1907, is the national trade association and voice of the abstract and title insurance industry. ALTA members search, review and insure land titles to protect home buyers and mortgage lenders who invest in real estate. ALTA members advocate safe and efficient transfer of real estate and insist on high standards when searching land title records and preparing insurance documents. The industry seeks to eliminate risk before insuring, which provides the insured with the best possible chance of avoiding land title problems. But, title difficulties can and do occur, and members offer both owner's and lender's title insurance as effective safeguards.

NOMAR Commercial Investment Division

The mission of the Commercial Investment Division (CID) of the New Orleans Metropolitan Area REALTORS® is to provide a forum for our professional community and to provide resources and education that advance professionalism.  We are committed to be the leading advocate of commercial real estate in the communities we serve by protecting private property rights and expanding relationships with individuals and organizations both locally and worldwide.  We seek to improve the well-being of the metropolitan New Orleans area through the promotion of commercial real estate investment and the economic development in our area.

New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS

The Real Estate Board of New Orleans, Inc. was chartered by the National Association of REALTORS® in 1915.  NOMAR's mission is to be the trusted advocate and resource for the real estate community. NOMAR invisions itself as a model of excellence among REALTOR® associations.

NOMAR is comprised of three organizations, the REALTORS® Association, which serves over 4,000 REALTORS®, the Commercial Investment Division (CID) that provides commercial brokers and agents benefits targeted to their specialized needs and Gulf South Real Estate Information Network, Inc., which provides MLS services to over 5,000 members.

Louisiana Assocaition of REALTORS

Louisiana REALTORS® is a member-based trade association founded in 1919. LR not only assists its members in the business of real estate, but also represents its membership on important real estate-related issues to state and federal government. LR provides many services to its statewide membership and local boards such as: legal assistance, professional development opportunities, member benefits, electronic communication and more. 

National Assocaition of REALTORS

The National Association of REALTORS® is America's largest trade association, representing over 1.1 million members, including NAR's institutes, societies, and councils, involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries.

Our membership is composed of residential and commercial REALTORS® who are brokers, salespeople, property managers, appraisers, counselors, and others engaged in the real estate industry. Members belong to one or more of approximately 1,200 local associations/boards and 54 state and territory associations of REALTORS®.

Louisiana State Bar Association

The Louisiana State Bar Association was created in 1941 by the Louisiana Supreme Court, acting upon authority granted to it by the Louisiana Legislature. The mission of the Louisiana State Bar Association is to assist and serve its members in the practice of law, assure access to and aid in the administration of justice, assist the Supreme Court in the regulation of the practice of law, uphold the honor of the courts and the profession, promote the professional competence of attorneys, increase public understanding of and respect for the law, and encourage collegiality among its members.

New Orleans Bar Association

Founded in 1924, the New Orleans Bar Association has represented the interests of lawyers and judges in the New Orleans area. The Bar is dedicated to promoting justice, educating its members and enhancing the legal profession. 

Jefferson Bar Association

The object and purpose of the Jefferson Bar Association is to assist and serve its members in the practice of law, promote the administration of justice, uphold the honor of the courts and the legal profession, promote the professional competency of attorneys through continuing legal education, increase public understanding of and respect for the law and encourage collegiality among its members.

American Bar Association

The American Bar Association is one of the world’s largest voluntary professional organizations, with nearly 400,000 members and more than 3,500 entities.  It is committed to doing what only a national association of attorneys can do: serving our members, improving the legal profession, eliminating bias and enhancing diversity, and advancing the rule of law throughout the United States and around the world.
